Macy’s promotion comes as rivals also amp up their summer plans. The All-Star Week will start the same time as Amazon’s (AMZN) two-day Prime Day event. Target’s (TGT) Target Circle Week and Walmart’s (WMT) Walmart Deals are already underway, although both will end this week.
Shares of Macy’s were little changed at $18.86 as of 1:55 p.m. ET Wednesday and are down about 6% year-to-date.
